Privacy statement

Achieving Potential is run by Fran McSweeney. This statement explains what personal information I collect, and how I use and look after it. If you have any questions, email me at fran@achievingpotential.co.uk.

What I collect

When you email me or book a call, I receive the information you choose to share — usually your name, your contact details and whatever you tell me about your situation. If you become a coaching client, I also keep brief records of our sessions and the agreements we make. This website doesn't set cookies or collect information about you on its own.

How I use it

I use your information to reply to you, to arrange and deliver coaching, facilitation or training, and to keep proper business records. I don't sell your information, share it for marketing, or pass it to anyone else, unless the law requires me to.

Services I use

Bookings are made through TidyCal, and the pages on this site use typefaces loaded from Google Fonts; each of those services handles some technical information, such as your IP address, under its own privacy policy. Coaching sessions themselves are confidential, as described on the coaching pages: if your employer pays for your coaching, what we discuss stays between us, and anything shared with your organisation is agreed with you first.

How long I keep it

I keep personal information only as long as I need it to work with you and to meet my legal and professional obligations, and then I delete it securely.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email me and I'll respond promptly. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
